Adventurers

The Black Canyon Bobcats Adventurer Club is a program sponsored by our church for young people in grades 1-4. It is a ministry program organized and directed by the Youth Ministries Department of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Our club offers a wide range of learning experiences that are designed to shape positive values and enable children to reach their full potential.

The Adventurer Club exists for the purpose of supporting parents in their task of raising children for Jesus Christ. It does not seek to take over this responsibility from the parents or to exclude the parents from the activities of the children.

Above all, it's to help them to learn to love God, as their personal Savior. The course offers 4 levels, Busy Bee, Sunbeam, Builders and Helping Hands.

The aim of the Adventurer Club is to have children gain a positive attitude about the benefits, joys and responsibilities of living a Christian life. Children will acquire the habits, skills and knowledge needed to live for Jesus today. Parents and other primary care-givers will become more confident and effective in their role as collaborators with Christ for their children.

Our Adventurer Club gets together on Wednesday evenings each month from 6:30 - 8 pm. For more information about joining our Adventurers Club, call the Montrose Seventh-day Adventist Church at (970) 249-4942. You're more than welcome to join us!
