Education Seventh-day Adventists believe in providing a Christian education. As early as 1874 Adventist pioneers in Battle Creek, Michigan, started the first denominational church school. Since that time thousands of elementary, secondary, and tertiary schools have been started around the world. In 1919 Adventist members in Montrose, Colorado, started a church school as a source for Christian education for our community. Today the Spring Creek Adventist School has a low student/teacher ratio (30 students to 3 teachers), offers pre-kindergarten through 8th grade, has a family atmosphere, and is a model of Christ-centered education. For more information about our school please contact the principal, David Swinyar at (970) 249-5500. |
